The European University for Tourism was the first example of an Higher Education Institution focused on tourism: it was structured and offered the following courses.
First level courses (three years – 180 Credits)

Bachelor Degree in Management of Tourism Services, option Hotel and option Restaurant
Faculty of IT and Communication.

First level Master – 1 year – 60 credits

All the courses took place in Tirana with the cooperation of European Universities and professional experts in tourism to give a European know how and a specialized experience to the students.
Concerning research activities, European University for Tourism had decided to set up four research laboratories: in strategic visions of new tourisms, tools, sustainability and new media.
These laboratories enrolled academic and research staff, students, and professional experts that was invited to demonstrate and share their expertise in their field. Results of these activities were disseminated through a magazine directed by a Reading Committee, edited in English and titled “Tungjatjeta! – European Policies for Tourism”.
